Free, open source tools from QuickCasa
Simple tools for renters, landlords and the people who build websites for them. Each one is free, needs no QuickCasa account, and has its source code on GitHub.
Part 1 For renters and landlords
-
No. 1
Walk through a rental on your phone, rate each room, add photos and collect signatures. The PDF report shows when every photo was added and every signature was made. It works offline and keeps everything on the device.
-
No. 2
Renters make a pet profile PDF to send with a rental application. Landlords turn the same details into a pet addendum for the lease. It's free, needs no account and runs entirely in the browser.
-
No. 3
Splits a building's utility bill by occupants, square footage, bedrooms or a mix, and shows the formula behind every charge. Use the calculator in your browser, or the TypeScript library in your own code.
npm install @quickcasa/rubs-calculator
Part 2 For developers and website owners
-
No. 4
An accessibility toolbar you add to any website with one script tag. Visitors can change contrast, text size and spacing, underline links, highlight keyboard focus and reduce motion. It makes no network requests.
npm install @quickcasa/accessibility-widget -
No. 5
A scheduled GitHub Actions workflow checks your sites and publishes a status page to GitHub Pages, with 90 days of history and recent incidents. Start one from the template, list your sites and turn on Pages.
-
No. 6
The rules we hold our own code to, like no any type, full-word names, one export statement per file and braces on every if. It uses ESLint 10's flat config and leaves formatting to Prettier.
npm install --save-dev eslint typescript@~6.0.3 @quickcasa/eslint-config
Part 3 Licences
Libraries and small tools use the MIT licence, so you can use them anywhere, including in commercial products. Full apps like the inspection app use the AGPL-3.0, so improvements to them stay open for everyone.
